More than Just Iowa Preschool/Daycare - Apple Tree Children's Center

This is Apple Tree Children's Centers. It is a place where children are taught to embrace a love for education that will help them to succeed for the rest of their lives. It is a place where a child can learn and grow at his or her own pace, and become prepared for a dynamically changing world. More than just a standard Iowa day care, Apple Tree takes child care to the next level.

As part of the Bradford Child Care Services family of schools, Apple Tree is able to provide the basic, physical materials and facilities to promote early education. However, it is our holistic approach to early education that sets Apple Tree apart from traditional Iowa day care centers. Here are just a few of the elements that make Apple Tree Children's Centers a great choice as an Iowa preschool.

Our approach is unique in that we respect the individual nature of all children. Approaching all children with a “one size fits all” mentality toward their education is simply flawed, and our programs exemplify individualized education. This focus on early education is what makes us one of the most popular Iowa preschool centers.

We feel that children learn best in an environment that is conducive to fun and exploration, so we strive to make our environment as hands-on and interesting as possible, while still focusing on providing a comfortable “home-like” environment.

Our instructors are passionate, dedicated, and highly qualified. Our instructors do not just work for us because it is a job; they work with us because they are passionate about early childhood education and child development and our approach to it. By giving them the freedom to approach education creatively, we give our instructors a high level of job satisfaction that leads to many of our instructors making a career out of their work here.

We look at parents as our partners in education. Involving parents in the education of their children is one of the best ways to help make sure the lessons taught in class are reinforced at home. We often learn a lot about how to better our approach through interaction with parents, and this makes us better overall.

Our programs highlight an understanding of the unique learning styles of the children we serve. We create programs that help promote healthy educational views in children of many groups from infants to school-aged. The result is that children feel very engaged by our programs and therefore work harder.
