"I love my daughter’s Tender Care. The building is very clean. It is warm and inviting. It is cheery and fun. The teachers are all very nurturing, warm and friendly. I love how I don’t need to worry about her during the day. I know she is happy and well cared for. My daughter began attending when she was just eight weeks old and I have not spent one day worrying about the care that she receives. Megan’s teachers care for her as if she were there own child. They pay close attention to her and really "know" her. They can tell when something is wrong just by noticing subtle differences in her behavior. I love how her "school" has a structured curriculum for all of the kids, including the infants. The babies in the infant room have a relatively structured day. They have morning snack, lunch, naptime, and afternoon snack. In between, the babies make artwork and crafts, they play music, they have waterplay (which they love), and they go outside for walks They learn to drink from a cup and eat with utensils. They learn to crawl and walk. More importantly, they learn social skills. They wave to each other and say "hi" if they can, when they arrive in the morning and again when they leave at night. They learn to play with one another. I love how the infants are included in all aspects of the school. They dress up for Halloween, they can invite grandparents in on Grandparents Day, and they get their school pictures taken. I was absolutely flabbergasted when my three-month old brought home artwork. Megan is now seventeen months old and regularly brings home artwork. I walked into the infant classroom one day to pick up Megan, her teacher and all four babies were sitting on the floor listen to music, singing at the top of their lungs and banging on tambourine-like musical instruments. The babies were so focused on their music that no one noticed me standing in the door. It was the cutest thing. Finally, I hear stories of lots of children who have separation anxiety and scream and cry when they are taken to child care in the morning. I have yet to experience that. My daughter loves going to school. When we pull up in the morning she gets so excited. And in the evenings, when I pick her up from school, she does NOT want to leave, I have to drag her kicking and screaming."
