In Tender Care’s Preschool classrooms, your big kid can begin to develop a lifelong love of learning through educational play.

Our preschool teachers embrace all children's natural inquisitiveness and eagerness to learn. They teach their students in ways that grow their knowledge and their confidence. Our teachers consider each child’s strengths, interests and needs, and then match developmentally appropriate practices for each child.

Through fun, interactive learning centers and other techniques, Tender Care preschoolers have the opportunity to:

  • Develop language proficiencies
  • Practice fine and gross motor skills
  • Gain computer experience
  • Identify letters, sounds and words
  • Practice writing skills
  • Cultivate a love of learning
  • Become kindergarten ready!

In our preschool classrooms, our teachers track each child’s unique learning processes – how he/she thinks, questions, and interacts on an intellectual, emotional and social level. They share this information with parents at parent-teacher conferences. Every parent receives a collection of their child’s work, showcasing their achievements and development throughout the year!

Tender Care is a Pennsylvania state-licensed child care and early childhood learning organization, an accredited member of NAEYC, PennAEYC, CAEYC, HAEYC, and PACCA, and is Keystone STARS rated.

Tender Care Learning Centers has committed to accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as the measurement of our program excellence. NAEYC is the nation’s largest and most influential organization of early childhood educators, and is dedicated to improving programs for children from birth through third grade. NAEYC sets the standards for quality childcare and education in America, with an emphasis placed on the quality of interactions among teachers and children and the developmental appropriateness of the curriculum.
