Tender Care of Robinson, Pennsylvania, packs learning and fun into every day! Our teachers are fully engaged and excited to be a part of your child’s day, whether that means running alongside the children in a game of tag, sharing a meal while learning how to build a healthy plate from the cooked lunch provided daily, or collaborating on an activity from curriculum that exceeds state and local standards.

We are proud to announce that our schools in Pennsylvania have been named a 2019 Top Workplace by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. A big thank you to all of our teachers for making our schools a great place to be for each other and for our families!!

Robinson testimonials

Over the past 6 years Tender Care Robinson has been my Pittsburgh family. Through their structured learning plans and the caring and loving staff, I have seen my girls grow, mature and develop their well rounded personalities. Being new to the country and the city, I had a lot of uncertainties and they not only put my worries at ease, but embraced our cultural differences and supported us all the way through the different stages of our daily lives. There is no other child care facility that I would entrust my daughters.

A Robinson Parent

We have been part of the Tender Care family for 4 years, and it has been the best decision I could have made for my son. He will begin Kindergarten in the Fall of 2014. The staff at Tender Care in Robinson are truly the best educators I've ever encountered. I never worry that my son isn't receiving the best care possible. I would recommend these wonderful educators to anyone. They all care about what is best for my child. I feel my son is prepared to start school with a head start over his classmates because of the great education he has received at Tender Care.

Lisa M. D.

Our son loves to attend Tender Care for summer child care as well as afterschool care. He enjoys the range of daily activities and also the arts and sports extracurricular activities that are offered, and often doesn’t want to leave at the end of the day! The whole staff’s dedication and knowledge of child development and education truly makes us feel that they are an extension of our family; helping to guide and nurture him socially, emotionally and intellectually.
We’ve experienced a more typical day care environment, which we found to be a mostly playbased program with basic intellectual opportunities and a lack of true understanding of child development. The educational focus and nurturing, positivediscipline based approach to child development at Tender Care is beyond comparison. We’ve seen our son’s demeanor transform from being frustrated and sullen to excited and confident as he now feels understood and appreciated. We feel very fortunate to have found Tender Care.
